SLO is highly regarded as a bike-friendly city. There are a number of places where you can rent a bike for your stay and many of them will deliver to you and pick it up when you’re done. Here are a few (this is not a recommendation or an endorsement, just someplace to get your search started): Foothill Cyclery; Art’s Cyclery
If you have to drive, you have to park. Outside the downtown area you won’t have a problem. In the downtown area, you won’t have a problem if you use this map: Downtown Parking
