Governor Newsom’s CPUC has proposed to break the state’s contract with nearly two million solar customers, slash their solar credit, and slap them with a solar tax. These changes would apply to ALL solar customers who signed up for solar before April 2023 (NEM1 and NEM2).

Governor Newsom could include the CPUC’s proposal in his proposed budget this spring.
