Restorative Partners, Inc., a nonprofit organization in San Luis Obispo County, is dedicated to transforming lives impacted by crime. Rooted in the belief in human dignity and the capacity for change, we work to reduce violence and recidivism while fostering a safer, more inclusive community.
Using a restorative justice approach grounded in accountability and trauma-informed care, we provide a continuum of care that spans from in-custody programs to post-release services, including transitional housing, counseling, life skills training, and employment assistance. Our mission is to empower individuals, rebuild relationships, and help communities thrive.
Our social enterprise, The Bridge Café, is another opportunity for participants to gain vocational training and employment experience. Through meaningful work, they build confidence and skills, preparing them for independent living while contributing positively to the community.
Our newest initiative is the Healing and Restoration Campus (HARC), located at the DeVaul Ranch. This campus will provide stable housing and comprehensive support for individuals reentering society after incarceration. Designed to be a space for healing, growth, and rebuilding lives, HARC will offer safe housing, onsite behavioral health services, job training, and opportunities for employment through agricultural and trade-based social enterprises. By addressing core barriers to stability, such as homelessness and unemployment, HARC aims to break the cycle of recidivism and homelessness while fostering lasting change for families and the broader community.
Additionally, we are supporting participants through initiatives like the Opportunity Fund, which provides financial assistance for urgent needs such as security deposits, bus passes, textbooks, and work supplies. By removing obstacles to self-sufficiency, we empower individuals to reclaim their lives with independence and hope. We invite you to join us in this transformative work.
