Music enhances the spiritual experience of those attending Sunday services, and is always an integral part of the service. The Music program committee also organizes and sponsors enjoyable musical activities such as fundraising concerts.

The UUSLO Chancel Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings from late August to early June, and generally performs for one or two Sunday services each month. No auditions required.

The Music Committee meets monthly on the third Friday of the month. The committee supports and consults with the Music Director in overseeing the music program, including managing the music budget. It works to ensure that suitable music is provided for those Sundays when the choir is not performing. This includes engaging guest musicians, both professional and volunteer. The committee also reviews proposals for other musical activities.
