I have taught music at Cuesta for 21 years, directing the vocal jazz groups and choirs. For the past six years I have been the Chair of the Performing Arts Division. I have a Bachelors in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota, and a Masters in Choral Conducting from N. Arizona University. I still love to perform with our Cuesta faculty concerts, and at my current church gig at St. Timothy’s Church in Morro Bay. I sang in the vocal jazz group Vocalogy, based in LA, from 1998-2016. My favorite things are my wife and two kids, ice cream, writing and producing music, and nature. I can’t wait to share our mutual love, music, with you all. Music is made possible by the diversity we all can bring to it, and I applaud you (in advance) for you bravery and stepping forward with me into this artistic endeavor to make the UU services more beautiful, and our music lives more rich.
