I was raised a UU on the east coast and have been a member of UUSLO for 15 years, give or take. I have been active in the congregation, serving on the BOT for a previous 2 terms, including 2 years as president of the congregation. I have also served on the board of Meadville Lombard Theological School, our UU seminary located in Chicago, Ill. Other UU-related activities include participating in the Russell Lockwood Leadership program, being one of the facilitators for Beloved Conversations, and helping out as needed around the church. I especially enjoy being a worship associate.
Professionally, I’ve worn many hats–trained as an R.N., taught pilates for many years, volunteered up the wazoo when the kids were in school and served on various boards in the community. We own a tea farm in Rwanda and that still keeps me busy. Tom and I have four children and 4 grandchildren scattered across the country. I am looking forward to serving on the board again as a way to continue to deepen connections.
