Satchell Paige once said, “How would you know how old you is if you didn’t know how old you was?” From the moment we are born, we are aging. Rev. Maddie Sifantus, minister of the Universalist Unitarian Church of Santa Paula, looks ahead to what might be called another country, thinking about aging and the challenges and opportunities individuals and congregation have ministering with, to and for us all as we go through the cycles of life. Rev. Maddie’s community ministry before serving in the Parish was as Founder/Director of an elder chorus, the Golden Tones, which she started in her thirties and led for twenty years.
